Allahabad Museum was established in year 1931 at Kasturba Gandhi Marg in Allahabad Uttar Pradesh. It is known by its rich collection of arts of unique objects by Minisry of Culture. In this Museum there is a Collection of ancient sculpture from Jamost, Mathura, Bhruma, Painting of Nicholas Roerich, Rajasthani Miniatures, Terracottas of Kausambi, Bangal School of Art, manuscripts of Hindi authors, autobiography of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Pistol of Chandra Shekhar Azad, Gandhi smrithi Vahan and some other unique collection of items. Museum open from Tuesday to Sunday. It is situated 3 or 4 km from Allahabad Junction Railway Station. You can reach there by book your taxi or private cab from Allahabad Cabs travel agency or by other travel agency in Allahabad. You can also reach up there by using comercial vechiles like Vikram, Tampoo etc.
Chandrashekhar Azad Park
This park was built by british in the year 1870. This is a public park in Allahabad. British named this park Alfred Park. Now a days this park is also known as Company Garden. The area of this park is near about 133 acres. It is a bigest park in city Allahabad. This park is situated near Civil Lines, near to University of Allahabad surrounded by Tagoretown and Georgetown.
